My name is Mak, owner of Latitude 4º. I am a scriptwriter, producer, and director. A graduate of the New York University TISCH School of Arts and an alumnus of Produire Au Sud Nantes, France, and Producers Network, Cannes Film Festival. My passion for film and television earned me the British Council’s International Young Creative Entrepreneur (IYCE) of the Year and The Future Awards Africa, Screen Producer of the Year. I also received the Jury Prize for directing at the Pan Africa Film Festival FESPACO 2011, Ouagadougou, among many other awards.

After college, I worked with the BBC World Service Trust as a director on the HIV/AIDS-awareness TV series “Wetin Dey” alongside other talented young filmmakers. I have produced and directed TV dramas, TV commercials, documentaries, and feature films.

I am currently collaborating on multiple films and TV projects at different stages of development and completion in Nigeria, including “Crime and Justice: Lagos”, a procedural TV drama series now streaming on Showmax and showing on Multichoice.
